Sheriff Ronnie Fields announces an investigation following a shooting death in the Robbins area of Moore County. On September 3, 2022, at approximately 10:00 pm, Moore County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of someone going door to door in the area of Sunset mobile home park in Robbins, North Carolina. Prior to arriving, deputies received a second report of a disturbance and gunshots fired in the same area. RANDLEMAN — One person is dead after a shooting at a part in Randleman on Saturday night. Just before midnight on Saturday night, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at a residence on Leonae Drive in Randleman. The victim, Daniel Lopez Vences, 20, had been transported in a private vehicle to Randolph Hospital prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The alleged shooter had also fled the scene.
