Last week, our state and nation received a dangerous reminder about the importance of being prepared for severe weather. Hurricane Ian has devastated communities across the southeast, and Renee and I continue to pray for everyone impacted by the storm, as well as those affected by Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico and beyond. While North Carolina was spared the worst of this latest disaster, we cannot let our guard down.
