SWR men’s soccer cruises past North Stanly
NEW LONDON — The Southwestern Randolph High School men's soccer team bounced back from a season-opening loss to Montgomery Central last week with a decisive 6-1 win against over the North Stanly Comets Tuesday night. The Cougars dominated possession throughout the game and went into halftime with a 2-0 lead. A pair of goals were netted by junior Steven Vences with additional talleys coming from freshmen Berni Zuniga and Rudolfo Fiscal.
