Last week in the House of Representatives, the 118th Congress kicked off in earnest. Republicans passed our first bills in the majority in more than four years. Though all of these bills will strengthen our country and economy, they were nearly universally opposed by Democrats. WASHINGTON, D.C. — Last week, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (R-NC) announced new senior staff positions in his Washington, DC, and North Carolina offices.  Chief of Staff Billy Constangy has been promoted to leadership chief of staff. Constangy, who has worked for Rep. Hudson since 2017, will take on the role following Hudson’s election to a new position in House Republican leadership that places Hudson fourth in line to the Speaker. RALEIGH — Veteran U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson of North Carolina was elected Tuesday by fellow House Republicans as leader of their campaign and fundraising arm to help get GOP candidates elected to the chamber.
