SOPHIA – Gary Causey led the entire race to win the Late Models feature Sunday in Russell Hackett’s 35th annual Thanksgiving Classic at Caraway Speedway. Causey, a former track champion, was on the pole for the 75-lap race. He was followed at the start by former track champions Tommy Neal, Boo Boo Dalton and Donnie Apple. Black claims victory in Mischa Sell Memorial

SOPHIA – Tony Black was the winner in the Limited Late Models feature as part of the Mischa Sell Memorial racing card Saturday at Caraway Speedway. Black led the 15-car field, with Mitchell Wright the runner-up and Casey Kepley in third place across the 100 laps. Black also won the pole bonus. The pole runner-up was Zack Clifton, who finished 10th. In 602 Modifieds, Lee Jeffreys finished first, followed by Junior Snow and Carson Loftin among 10 drivers. The UCars victory went to Allen Vance, with Daniel Hughes second and Steven Collins in third.

SOPHIA – Bobby Labonte, a NASCAR Hall of Famer, had to settle for second place at Caraway Speedway. That’s because Jonathan Brown won for the first time in the SMART Modified Tour, edging Labonte in Saturday night’s 99-lap race.
