ASHEBORO – North Moore has earned a chance to compete for a state championship.  The Mustangs (22-8) will face the Uwharrie Charter Eagles in the best-of-3 Class 1-A state championship series beginning Friday at Ting Stadium in Holly Springs. Game 2 and, if necessary, Game 3 will be held Saturday. The match-up pits two schools about 25 miles apart.
