Pinecrest closes its non-conference schedule with a home game against New Hanover on Friday.

Union Pines posted its first win of the season in an emphatic way with a 58-0 blowout victory at Western Harnett. The Vikings improved to 1-2 on the year, while the Eagles fell to 0-3.
